Why I love Vertical Dramas

I love me a good story! I’m an avid reader, both paper and digital versions, reaching for nearly anything I can get my hands on, and I like my reading to be pretty spicy. So when social media started hard pushing online reading apps, I was definitely their target audience, easy.

Then, social media started pushing out Vertical Dramas, and they leaned in HARD to hook you. There were so many free episodes in each ad, sucking you into the story right away. The next thing I know, here I am again, clicking the link to download the new app. What can I say? Marketing clearly works on me :)

I’m not really sure what vertical drama was actually the first one I watched, but my MOST FAVORITE one I watched first was You Belong With Me on ReelShort starring Emma Hullar and Eric Guilmette. Since it was one of the first I watched, those two actors have become my MUST watch. As soon as I hear they have a new one out I am there watching away. Super fan for sure.

Since becoming hooked on Vertical Dramas I now have 51 apps at my fingertips to watch anytime. However, I am not a secret billionaire hiding my identity until the time is right, so if I’m watching those apps, I am doing it through free ads. The rates of some of these sites are NUTS! I was looking at one app yesterday and a yearly subscription was going for $199.99. And I LOVE Vertical Dramas, but 51 apps at $200 a year and I think I would have to start looking for that secret billionaire to flash marry me, but if I actually was following those story lines, I would have to be in extreme medical debt or be incredibly selfless and noble and not spend a dollar of my billionaire’s money. As a matter of fact, I would have to fork over my last $200 in my bank account to take care of my billionaire husband so I for sure couldn’t spend a dollar on my Vertical Drama apps, LOL.

Vertical Dramas are spitting out new series on all of the apps on the daily and it can make it tricky to keep up as well as enjoy viewing without spending an arm and a leg, which is how Fru-gals was created. I will definitely keep watching, but I’ll have to save my pennies for that billionaire husband waiting to save me when my half sister/step sister/ best friend is moving in on my husband and plotting to kill me.
