Desire Under Our Uniforms

Viewed on KalosTV: This one is cute. A little clunky, but it’s a Vertical Drama, so of course I love it.

The High: The cute puppy at the end of the drama.

All spoilers and no filters ahead.

Opening scene, our heroine tells us her back story in the first ten seconds of the show! I love when it unravels so quickly. Basically, Kelly Garcia (Rue Austin - Which, GIRL! Get your manager to upload your headshots to IMDB!) can’t find a job because of a plagiarism scandal (it’s ok, she was framed) and she has a dying grandma, but it’s okay, she’s willing to marry for money. Anything to get that coin for old sickie. Ugh, can’t they need money for their charity or funding a new company, or going to school. Like there are more reasons to be desperate for money other than needing to take care of your family’s medical bills. Hell, at this point I would accept she needs money to build her dream closet. Or go to the Olympics! Like that takes hundreds of thousands of dollars to get to that point. Ohh, I love Meghan March’s Dirty Billionaire novel series of an up and coming country singer hooking up with a billionaire. Like he uses his money to hire security and get her a fancy tour bus and upgrade her hotel rooms. It wouldn’t be hard to write that. You could have a scrappy singer that is driving herself around to gigs giving a ride to a billionaire trying to stay on the DL when his poor person persona’s car breaks down. I’m just saying, there are a million reasons to fake a marriage than medical bills. C’mon Vertical Dramas, don’t fail me now. I’m going to have to start writing my own if this continues, but my friend SJ would probably encourage that, lol.

Anyway, where was I? I’m three seconds into the Vertical Drama and already on a tangent. Okay, so as Kelly is giving us her backstory via a phone conversation with her mom, a man nearby (apparently 5-star General Carl Morgan) is having a medical emergency. Luckily, nurse Kelly is quick to assess him with a “classic heart attack” and she is prepared to deal with it with, I shit you not, a hair band and the man’s prescription pills. Luckily the hair band is for her hair so she can open the lid and dole out the medicine without her hair in her face. This is just lazy and sloppy writing. This is what I’m talking about when I say clunky. Like, I don’t need my Vertical Dramas to be real, but I like them based in reality, if that makes any sense. Anyway, the man promises her a real reward for saving his life when his grandson shows up.

Cue sexy music and a man, George Morgan (Landry Grandstaff) dressed in his halloween costume, I mean Navy dress uniform, rolls up. I do like they got the camo for his underlings the right color. Carl is thanking Kelly for being a decent human being and helping him when everyone else was literally standing around and looking at him. Kelly tries to tell him she’s just doing her job, she doesn’t need a reward and Carl thanks her for being so kind and tries to hook her up with his grandson. She gives him her number and rushes off when she gets a call that her fiance she’s never met will be arriving at the courthouse. Carl meets up with George and tells him that if Kelly wasn’t already getting married he would order his grandson to marry her. But what a coincidence, George is also getting married today and Carl will meet her soon. Kelly walks to the courthouse to get married and her mother is trying to talk her out it. George is there too, told his bride is “business casual.” Kelly rushes to get into the building and literally falls into George’s arms. I thought they mistook one another for their spouses, but I guess they were already going to get married because George just hands her a card with the promised money on it. Also, this always confuses me. Why not write a check. Why just a bank card? It’s confusing, but maybe it’s a Chinese Vertical Drama holdover I’m just not getting. Kelly walks away from George and immediately gets a call from Carl and he offers her a job in the military hospital. Jobless Kelly readily accepts. Carl calls George and tells him that he better take care of Kelly at work and maybe he can marry her but when George tries to tell grandpa he’s already married, he hangs up on him.

A stunning blonde, Victoria Wilson (Sophie Rankin), walks in horribly underdressed…overdressed…basically doesn’t look like she’s dressed for WORK in her see through pearl bedazzled shirt shows up and tells the front desk reception she’s the new nurse. There is confusion as Carl arranged for the “new nurse” but then didn’t leave her name? They point to Mr. Morgan, George, and he thinks Victoria, a woman he grew up with is the special lady his grandpa wanted him to take care of. George flicks her off to his staff. Kelly walks in moments later and tells the receptions she’s a new nurse. Victoria then looks at Kelly and tells her to show her around, ummm weren’t you listening? She said she’s new. Victoria explains George Morgan is the director and Kelly tells her that’s so funny, her husband is also named George Morgan. The receptionist and Victoria start to harangue her and call her delusional. Kelly is confused why they can’t understand George Morgan is a super common name and asks for her onboarding to continue. The female receptionist is confused how a woman could have one name on her resume and another name professionally. Kelly explains she just got married yesterday, so Victoria need not be concerned she’s hunting for another George Morgan. Victoria slaps Kelly for no good reason other than the fact that she’s a real bitch. A soldier (although they are in the Navy, so I guess a sailor?) comes by and tells them to keep it down. When Victoria tries to order him to kick Kelly out he tells her he only takes orders from the Colonel. He then gets the news in his earbud that he is supposed to protect the new nurse and escort anyone out that gives her trouble as stated by Carl Morgan, so the other sailors point guns in Kelly’s face. Victoria gloats. Another Vertical Drama trope, never share the name of the person you want taken care of, that would be much too easy to not fuck up. Dumb. Just as Kelly is about to be escorted out, George makes an appearance.

Kelly is shocked to see her husband is the director. Victoria tries to throw herself onto George and he immediately pushes her off. He too thinks Grandpa is matchmaking and going so far as trying to get rid of his contract marriage in favor of Victoria. The receptionist tells George Kelly’s a liar whose paperwork says Garcia but she said her name is Morgan. George asks her if she verified her information and when she admits she didn’t, he fires her. She tries to blame Victoria but George isn’t swayed. Then he demands an accounting of the sailor who tries to explain what he was doing and George tells him he went about it wrong and if it happens again he’s done. He orders his sailor to take care of Victoria but states publicly that no one under any circumstances is to touch Kelly. He tells her he has a meeting but she should wait for him.

Later he returns to his office, with very sexy almost porny music playing, where Kelly asks why he didn’t tell her about his job and George tells her it was a contract and there isn’t a lot she needed to know. She says she gets it, but was wondering is the real reason is because he was afraid of her asking for more money when she knew who he was… How much does a Colonel get paid? Okay, Google is a thing. First of all there are no Colonels in the Navy, it’s equivalent to a Captain. Second, they only make $175,000 a year, so either he’s independently wealthy or he’s selling things on the black market. Kelly is like if you don’t trust me, I’ll just pay you back right now. When she whips out her phone to pay him back he flips it out of her hand and catches it before it drops on the ground. He tells Kelly he overthought it and he knows she’s not that kind of person before he pulls her in real close to his body. George tells her that he doesn’t need the IOU and the money is all hers fair and square. She pushes him away before insisting he needs to accept it and the conversation is over. George tells her that if she tells people she’s married to him they won’t be such shitstains to her, but she doesn’t want to. She doesn’t want them to treat her different because of who she’s married to and George admires that about her.

George comes by later hoping to get lunch with Kelly but is stuck with Victoria. While watching him and Victoria, Kelly is accosted by Alice a co-worker and while I am not one to ever talk about a person’s acting because it literally isn’t my business, just my entertainment, I will say this actress is what I am talking about when I say this is clunky. Her acting just needs work…or to be taken down a notch, like it’s overacting. Whatever, I’m not a casting director, but oooofffff. Anyway, Alice is the deliverer of all the office hot goss. So, Victoria was brought in by Carl since George and she were “childhood sweethearts” and they’re as good as engaged. When Kelly isn’t taking the bait, Alice approaches Victoria to be her HBIC and tells her that Carl is coming in to see her and Alice tries to be indispensable to her.

Carl arrives and voice overs that he hopes since Kelly and George are working closely together they might fall for one another. He wants to keep a low profile and wanders around to check things out. Victoria and Alice swan by and see Carl isn’t dripping in diamonds or wearing a uniform so they’re confused how the poor got into the hospital. They make rude comments to him and don’t allow him to speak before Alice is shoving him to the ground and triggering another angina attack. Kelly runs in and asks what the fuck they’re doing? When she tries to help him they kick Carl’s pills away, slaps Kelly and stomps on Kelly’s hands when she tries to help. Kelly is finally able to help Carl and the receptionist calls for help. Victoria tries to justify her rough behavior because this man “just walked in” and Kelly tells her, this is a HOSPITAL. Victoria continues to threatened Kelly and “fires her” when Carl tells her that he family ain’t shit and then Victoria hits Carl. Victoria commands the nearby sailors to get rid of the riffraff and again Kelly has guns drawn on her.

George FINALLY walks in straight to Grandpa and announces their relationship. Victoria has an oh shit face. She apologizes to Carl and he tells her, not to me bitch. Alice immediately jumps on board and starts apologizing and Victoria practically whispers her apology until Carl shouts LOUDER at her then she falls to her knees and says she didn’t know! Well, that’s okay then. As long as you didn’t know, that makes it all ok. So dumb! Carl chastises her and says this is a hospital and patients come first. He looks to George to handle the situation properly. When George chews her out she asks why he believes her, but as soon as George was going to tell everyone she’s his wife, Kelly cuts him off and tells them all she’s his subordinate and Kelly ends up talking him out of firing her. Dumb Kelly, you should have had her taken out back and shot. Carl takes Kelly on a tour of the hospital. George continues chewing Victoria out when his head sailor arrives with his custom necklace, which is super fancy.

Alice tells Victoria that necklace must be for her and he just didn’t give it to her because of the whole grandpa thing. In another room, George and Kelly have revealed to Grandpa Carl they are married and Carl is sure that it’s destiny and soon it won’t only be a paper marriage. He tries to push the two together even more, but George is able to shut him down before Kelly outright rejects him. Carl finally leaves but not before asking for a great grandchild. When Carl shuffles off, George backs Kelly into a desk, moves real close like he’s going to kiss her before shifting and picking up the necklace off the desk and placing it on Kelly’s neck. He whispers in her ear she “can’t say no, that’s a order.” Ooooh, kinky! Then just as George is about to kiss her with the “there’s something on your lips” Victoria bursts into the room. Kelly quickly hides the necklace, tells Victoria the Colonel was helping her get something off her lips and splits. George then tell Victoria it was a “mandatory military lip inspection” LOL.

Kelly leaves and runs into her nemesis, Jake Miller, who was Kelly’s med school classmate and the creator of the plagiarism scandal. Kelly blows him off and he calls her a slut when she left. Victoria calls Jake over and it turns out he’s been a shitty doctor for a while. Victoria asks him about Kelly. He shit talks Kelly while Victoria does as well. Victoria tells Jake is she wants to teach her a lesson she’s make it worth his while before whispering her rotten plan in his ear. Jake tracks Kelly down and starts talking mad shit and when Kelly tries to leave he grabs her and pushes her back. He talks about how great Kelly was in med school and how did she end up as a nurse. He spreads the rumor that she seduced a classmate and stole his work and her male mentor was able to help her. He asks what she had to do to make that happen and then talks about how is it she ended up where she is now. Alice walks in for the gossip session. Kelly tells Jake she knows the truth, he was the one that created the scandal because he couldn’t stand that he wasn’t as good as her. She tells him she’s married, and he pulls her in and tells her she would only marry some old creepy man. She slaps him away and he slaps her back and Alice spots the necklace she rips off her neck and asks where she got it. When Kelly tells Alice her husband gave it to her she says that couldn’t possibly to true, it’s a million dollar necklace, she must have stolen it. Jake orders Alice to not let her go and Alice shoves her to the ground where Jake steps on her hand and the necklace breaking it. Meanwhile, all of her coworkers are standing around and watching this happen. Jake orders her taken to the Colonel for judgement and they drag Kelly off.

They throw Kelly on the ground at George’s feet. He’s shocked and asks what the hell they’re doing. He helps Kelly up and when Jake tells him she stole his necklace he asks who says she stole it? Alice tells him that she saw it and now Kelly has it so how did she end up with it? George tells her he gave it to her. Kelly interrupts and says it was a thank you for saving his grandfather. Alice immediately overacts and says that doesn’t make sense since you said it was a gift from your husband. George teases Kelly and says that she has a crush on him and she’s married so keep yourself in check Kelly. She pinches his back and says “yes, sir” through gritted teeth. He dismisses everyone. Again, Kelly, you’re so stupid. Why didn’t you have George murder these people. She tells George Jake broke the necklace.

Jake tells him it was an accident, please have mercy. George tells him it was a million dollar necklace, you break it you bought it. Jake tells him he could never afford it. George spills the beans when he asks Kelly, “What should we do with him, baby?” Kelly says, whoa bud! It was on the DL, and George tells her they’re treating you like shit and that shit don’t fly…sail (they are in the Navy). Kelly thinks he’s in love with Victoria but he’s flirting with her, In what universe are you seeing him “obviously in love with Victoria” because that isn’t even remotely true. You saw them talking in the hall and Alice says so? Bitch, please. Kelly tells George she wants Jake gone forever. George fires Jake and tells him if he tells anyone about him and Kelly he’s going to have a naval guy on him, but not in a sexy way. George again tells Kelly if she just told everyone they’re married, none of this would happen. Again, she just wants the respect of her colleagues. She leaves and George’s top dog enters with the information about the nurse that saved his life in the ambush. Okay, I just can’t in Vertical Dramas with the “he/she saved my life so they’re my destiny” crap. Like if this happened in real life everyone and their brother would be stationed on the street corner ready to save someone’s life so they can be happily married. And what about people who never saved a life or had their life saved, do they ever find true love? It’s such a dumb trope. Anyone, three guesses who’s name is on the inside of the envelope and the first two don’t count. You’re right, it’s Miranda Lovejoy! She’s the one that saved George’s life but she’s already happily married with five kids and another on the way so I guess he’ll just have to stay with Kelly. Ugh, of course it’s Kelly’s name. This is so fucking dumb! George opens the file and smiles.

Flashback time to George fleeing into the night while being shot at and wildly shooting back. Kelly is undressing in the lounge after a shift and takes off her scrub top when she sees George in the mirror and his bleeding wound. She goes to help him when he grabs her by the throat and threatens to snap her neck if she screams. She tells him if he moves like that again she he’s going to bleed out so he better let her do her job and help him. Okay, so George was mostly out of it so I get when he doesn’t recognize her, but this moment seems really one of a kind and one I feel like you wouldn’t forget, so why doesn’t Kelly recognize George? Again, dumb.

Alice tells Victoria what all went down and how it literally ended at George’s feet. Victoria blames Jake and says he better keep his damn mouth shut or else. Victoria says she isn’t getting the warm fuzzies from George, so what can she do Alice? Alice advises her to do “something to win him over” he’ll see her in a while new light. That’s so vague and dumb.

Kelly is called to George’s office and he has something for her, her medical degree. He got the two names from Jake of the shitstains that accused her of cheating and make them confess about the lying to the school board and got her degree reinstated. He pulls Kelly onto his lap and Kelly says no one has ever been able to clear her before. He tells her she deserves it and she’s going to be a doctor. George hands over her new ID and Kelly thanks him. He tells her there’s no need, we’re husband and wife and he leans in to kiss her when he is AGAIN interrupted by his top dog who comes running in.

A unit has been brought in after contracting a deadly, mysterious, highly contagious disease. George is like, what the fuck? Did we call the CDC (oh Buddy, in Trump’s America those people are gone) and asked if they were all isolated. Top Dog tells him Victoria authorized it and it has George’s seal on it. George is confused and asks where Victoria is. Good plan, Victoria, said no one ever. Except maybe Alice. Kelly follows George because as I correctly predict, Kelly is going to be the only human possible to solve this mystery contagion. Like does she have to be the guy? Can’t she be the guys sounding board or something? Victoria is standing the middle of the chaos literally watching everything falling apart around her with Alice panicking, too. Meanwhile, Kelly has already walked in and taken control of the situation. George chews out Victoria, while Kelly continues being the hero. Victoria claims she tried asking George and he didn’t answer so she took his seal and did it without him. George calls her a crazy bitch and I couldn’t agree more. Victoria freaks and asks Alice what they should do. If the soldiers die under Kelly’s watch then Victoria will be blamed for it. Alice tells her they should bring in an expert to solve the problem and Victoria can claim the credit when they’re successful over this lowly nurse.

Kelly is getting everything squared away when the walking windbag, Dr. Hillis arrives on scene to stink the place up. When he tries to chide George for not calling right away, he tells them they have their own expert. Dr. Hillis asks who and before anyone can say anything Victoria walks in the the “she’s a fake academic without a medical license” and says she did nothing while all the soldiers were getting sicker all around her and she’s been pretending to diagnose patients. George is trying to just move things along so he invites Dr. Hillis to examine a patient. He does and says he know what meds they will need, and George hands over the patient chart. Dr. Hillis is shocked and asks who prescribed these absolutely correct meds and Kelly said I did. Dr. Hillis asked how she knew which ones to use and Kelly tells him because she helped to develop them. VIctoria never knows when to quit and accuses Kelly of talking nonsense. Kelly tells them she worked with her mentor and she was taken on the research team and she first authored the paper. Dr. Hillis nearly wets his pants and says “You’re Kelly Garcia?” Kelly confirms and Dr. Hillis bows out and tells them to carry on without him. Victoria and Alice objects and say her degree was revoked. Dr. Hillis tells them it was a set up and she was reinstated. Victoria and Alice try to sneak off but George calls them back. Victoria tries whining to George and he tells her not George, Colonel. She stole his seal and she caused a medical disaster. George finally fires her, maybe because he stopped asking Kelly what she wanted to happen. He starts to go down and Kelly surmises he contracted the virus.

George is in the hospital bed when Kelly comes by for lunch. She teases him that if he’s feeling well enough to work, he should check himself out. He teases her that he only has so long of her medical care before she becomes a doctor so he’s got to take what he can get. George sets aside his lunch and tells her he’s feeling chest pain. Kelly is concerned so she asks what’s wrong and he tells her it’s beating too fast. She tells him it isn’t a symptom of the virus so she’s confused. He tells her it isn’t from the virus, but he does know who to treat it and asks if she’ll help him. Since he claimed he knew how to treat it she tells him he’s on his own then. George pulls her back to his bed and they FINALLY have their first kiss. As the kiss is deepening and getting more intense, Top Dog interrupts (Kelly hides on the floor beside this bed) and tells George the Ministry of Defense has approved Kelly as a doctor there. George, not able to switch off his lust filled brain just stares into space until Kelly pinches his side. He tells Top Dog to leave and as soon as he leaves, Kelly and George go back to kissing.

George is back at work and Kelly walks into his office showing off her white coat, finally her dream has come true. George tells her she looks beautiful and has a gift for Kelly, a house. Kelly can’t accept it, it’s too much. George says, Mrs. Morgan can’t have roommates and tells her he wants to give it a try with her. Kelly says, but we have a contract and George is given his fuck the contract moment. He reminds Kelly the deal was about him finding the one he loves and he had because he found Kelly and he CONFESSES his feelings for her! He says they should end their contract and try it for real. Kelly, in her head, is still questioning George’s feelings for Victoria. Girl, I’m not seeing it. Literally Victoria has been going around saying they’re childhood sweethearts but other than public conversations in the public hallway, there doesn’t seem to be anything else there, so that is a confusing (dare I say clunky) plot point. Kelly doesn’t want to get squashed by her feelings and brushes aside George’s feelings and says things just got carried away. She rushes off and George is like, wait…I thought she was feeling it too, is it all in my head?

Victoria is on a bench trying to play it cool and incognito. Okay, the sunglasses, headscarf and giant open newspaper scream LOOK AT ME instead of nothing to see here. Try just the sunglasses and a book or honestly your phone and there will be nothing weird about what you’re doing. Anyway, she’s meeting up with Jake so they can again plot against Kelly. Apparently neither of them learned from their first attempt. Jake shares that Kelly had a friend in med school that was faking poor but was actually super wealthy and Kelly rejected him because he’s poor, if she were to learn that this former love interest was actually the heir to the prestigious Kingsley family she’ll jump into bed with him and George will find out and dump her. Me thinks there is going to be drugs showing up soon because Jake and Victoria are shitheads.

Jake now works for Danny Kingsley (Steinar Bakke) and tells him about the amazing work of Kelly Garcia and how it would be great if they could invite her to their seminar. Danny gets his own sexy music and peruses Kelly’s resume so he obviously has some feelings there. George brings her the invitation and Kelly says she’ll go. George implies it’s because of Danny and Kelly just explains what the benefits of attending would be, but she’s confused why Danny would have something to do with her. Some little birdy told George that Danny had the hots for her but she rejected him in college because he’s poor and now that she knows who he truly is she’s rushing back to him…Sure the IOU girl is also a gold digger…um, okay. Kelly tells him it’s interesting he has the 411 on her personal life which is none of his business, tells him she’s going and walks away. George voiceovers that he knows Kelly isn’t that girl but he had to pull out the jealous caveman act and spew and ruin everything.

Danny meets Kelly at the front entrance of the hospital with a bouquet of flowers. George shows at the event too and stops them telling them he can’t possibly miss such an important seminar. He barges into meeting and hands her the materials she needs for her presentation. At the end Danny tries to invite her to lunch, but George interrupts telling them they have a work lunch. Danny modifies the invite and says all three of them can lunch together.

At lunch, Danny orders for Kelly remembering her favorite and also has insights on George’s dish. Turns out they’ve known each other for ages because their wealthy families go way back. Danny inquires about George’s recent marriage trying to find the name of his bride. George tells him they’re hiding it from the public and Danny teases, did I say bride? Maybe I should ask about your husband? George reassures him he’s straight and then slips in a “right Kelly?” Danny is confused and asks why Kelly would know that and she tells him it’s because she knows who holds his heart, VICTORIA! George is like, what the hell? Why would you say that? Danny asks Kelly why she never came to him for help after the cheating scandal, she knew he was the Kingsley heir and he could have helped her. George is surprised by this news. Danny tells George she knew all along, she was the only one he trusted because she never cared about social status, basically the opposite of what George accused her of. Danny tells her anytime she wants to jump ship he has a spot for her. which makes George bristle and accuse him of trying to poach his girl. Kelly thanks Danny, but tells him she’s happy where she is. Kelly thinks George looks jealous which confuses her. Danny says the way he’s acting you’d think he was trying to steal his wife.

Later George brings Kelly home and wrangles an invite out of her. Victoria and Jake are watching from a nearby car. Victoria is freaking out about them being together alone and Jake says to make something up to separate them. Inside Kelly has changed into something more comfortable and offers George a glass of water but tries to send him on his was after he drinks it. George starts to apologize to Kelly and pulls her onto his lap. George confesses that he was jealous and she’s the one he loves. When he moves towards her she closes her eyes for a kiss, but George was just placing water on the table. He tells her she’s been distant, what’s up with that. Kelly tells him that he says sweet words but she knows who is really in his heart. Victoria calls and pretends a medical emergency and asks for his help, but George tells her he’s not a doctor so she should call 911. When that attempt fails, Jake tells her to go after Carl. Back in the apartment, Kelly tells George he should go to Victoria and help her, that’s the way to a girl’s heart. George asks why he would want to get into her heart when the only one he wants is her. Finally he tells her about her saving his life. Again, his face was right up against hers, how did she forget him? Kelly finally confesses that she loves George too. They start kissing before being rudely interrupted by the phone.

George answers but is cryptic and tells Kelly grandpa Carl is in the hospital. When she asks if she should go with him he tells her that it’s routine, just a medical flare up and Kelly should stay home and rest. He leaves. Sometime later there is a knock at the door…and it’s Jake who busts in and grabs her. George arrives at the hospital and asks Top Dog where Carl is. Top Dog says he wasn’t admitted and Alice tries to hide behind a room curtain. George catches her and asks her where her grandpa is since he’s the one that called her. Alice is now fired and subject to military investigation. And also, Victoria is back at the hospital for some reason, I thought she was fired? Victoria tries to sell the Danny/Kelly story to George, but what’s this? That is actually Victoria’s story of why she rejected Danny? Anyway, George knows Kelly is the real deal and Victoria is a schemey liar and knows she’s doing something. He gets Victoria to talk.

Jake has been manhandling Kelly and she’s pretty out of it. He drugs her with an aphrodisiac. He starts unbuckling his belt and George arrives on the scene and punches him. The drugs are taking effect on Kelly so George steps up I guess. Ugh, it would be different if they’d already had sex together, but their first time Kelly is drugged up is pretty shitty. I can’t call this a spicy moment because it’s trash.

George is walking Kelly through their new house. They are planning their big fancy wedding for the weekend. When Kelly starts freaking out about not having a dress or anything planned he tells her to not worry about it. Victoria and Alice are dining out and planning how to save themselves from Jake ratting them out when they instead plan to kill her. Cool, solid thinking. Luckily, Danny is the man of steel and takes a baseball bat to the arm. The thug threatens him and Danny calls his security to take care of them. He confesses that after Jake pulled what he did he had his own team following her for safety. He wraps her scrapes as she thanks him and then George arrives and starts swinging his dick around. Yhey finally tell Danny the truth that they’re married. Danny is blindsided and George tells him he’s the best man. Danny is shocked but he’s a good guy so he tells them he’s happy for them both and then he and George do the man hug. The team brings over the guy they caught and after one shove and three seconds he’s spilling the beans that Victoria and Alice hired him.

George walks over with an adorable puppy wearing a wedding dress that he gifts to Kelly. He confesses he’s tired of hiding their relationship to the world so they go off to plan their wedding and it ends with a montage of them being a cute couple doing cute couple things together.

Like I said, this one is cute but really clunky.
